My Final Post

Hi, this is Jacqueline! I want to give a big thank you for reading my post for over the first semester. I had written enough techniques I know of and there's nothing more to explain. I really hope you learn how to use those techniques once you're ready to go to karate lessons. The reason why I had to learn about karate is because I wanted to try them out just like in the movies and also to protect myself in the city and home. Winnipeg has become a crime city to compare with New York, I had to learn self defence in karate, so I wouldn't get hurt or injured. I hope those techniques will come in handy someday. Why Is Karate Popular In Entertainment?

Now you have learned what the martial arts about, I'm going to be explaining how karate's used for entertainment. Karate was spread through the west (North America); karate had influenced Canada, Korea, Soviet Union (1922-1991), United States, Europe, United Kingdom, Italy, and France outside of Japan. I bet you're asking right now saying, "When did they started filming movies that included martial arts?" They started making martial arts in the 1970s, it had become a mainstream genre that pushed karate and all other martial arts into media and popularity. (Ex. Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, Jackie Chan and Jet Li.) That's why karate used for entertainment because it draws attention to the audience and makes more people interested with martial arts.
